Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Jacqueline Becerra received the 2018 Lucero Award from LatinoJustice PRLDEF. The third annual event honored leading members of the South Florida community whose commitment to diversity and justice have helped protect civil rights and expand professional and civic opportunities for Latinos throughout the Southeast region.
For more than 40 years, LatinoJustice PRLDEF has been changing the way Latinos live their lives in the U.S. By litigating precedent-setting impact cases across the country and training young people to be leaders in their community, LatinoJustice PRLDEF has profoundly improved the way Latinos are treated in U.S. society, working to ensure that they have more opportunities for political, economic, social and educational equality.

Based in the firm’s Miami office, Becerra is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s White Collar Defense Special Investigations Practice. A highly experienced litigator who has handled more than 50 trials and arbitrations, Becerra represents individuals and entities in a broad range of both complex civil and criminal matters. Her practice includes commercial, securities, employment, patent and trademark litigation, as well as criminal matters, including internal corporate investigations and advising clients on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
